What you enter into the calculators
The calculators run in your browser. The figures you type, such as a CTC, a take-home or a vendor's rates, are not sent to our servers. If you copy a link to a calculation, the figures are in the link and anyone who opens it sees them.
What we collect
- Email form. If you ask for wage revision alerts we collect your email, the company name if you give one, your state, and a summary of the calculation you were looking at. We use it to send the alerts you asked for.
- Analytics and advertising. With your consent, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits and the performance of our ads. They set cookies and receive technical data such as your device, approximate location and the pages you view. We load them only after you accept.
- Ad click identifiers. If you arrive from a Google ad, we keep the click ID for the visit, and attach it to a form submission, so we can tell which ads lead to enquiries.
Your choices
You can decline cookies in the banner and the site works the same. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold, or withdraw consent to emails, at any time. Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 apply.
How long we keep it
We keep email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.
Who we share it with
We use Google for analytics and advertising, and our email and hosting providers to run the site and send alerts. We do not sell your data.
