Get an email when minimum wages change in your state

Most states revise in April and October, some in January and July. We email you once per revision, with the new rates and the effect on a typical CTC.

Indicative calculation from the minimum wage on file for 7 October 2026 and the statutory rates on the methodology page. Not legal advice. Check the current state notification before you pay or contract.

How it works

  1. Choose the state, category, gender and month. Professional tax depends on gender in some states, and labour welfare fund is charged only in certain months.
  2. Enter the take-home you want. The calculator solves for the gross that leaves exactly this amount after employee deductions.
  3. Check what it costs you. The statement shows the employer contributions on top and the monthly and yearly CTC.
Why might the exact take-home not be reachable?

When the ESIC wage base (Basic + DA, plus allowances above 50% of pay) crosses ₹21,000, ESIC drops away, so take-home jumps. If your target falls inside that gap, the calculator uses the nearest higher take-home and says so.

Is PT deducted from the employee?

Yes. Professional tax and the employee share of PF, ESIC and LWF are deducted from gross. The employer pays EPF, EPS, ESIC and the employer LWF share on top.

What if my target is below the minimum wage take-home?

The structure is held at the minimum wage, the lowest possible take-home is shown, and the result is marked Review needed.
