What this site is
CTCBtao.in gives manpower vendors and the companies that hire them a clear view of what a contract worker must legally cost. It covers minimum wages for every state and union territory, a CTC calculator, an in-hand calculator and a vendor quote checker.
Where the numbers come from
Rates are taken from published state notifications and statutory sources, and the calculation rules were built from a payroll compliance workbook that is tested against the site's calculators. Every state page shows the effective date, the status of the notification and when we last checked. The methodology page lists each rate and rule.
What it is not
It is not legal, tax or payroll advice. Notifications change and some are published late. Confirm important figures against the current notification.
